This camp is by the Star & is sort of a search for the young stars.
Guess what? I'm of the chosen ones!
I seriously do not expected it...
So excited & happy!
Thanks to Joyce for calling me there...
If wouldn't for her, I might not know about this camp at all...
Well, anyway reached the Menara Star at about 715..
Get to meet Joyce again! So happy to see her again =D
Met alot of strangers, went into the bus & put in our bags..
Joyce & I were like the only ones talking A LOT! Lolx...
Anyway, reach there & get to meet another Joyce, Tsi Minn, Rachel & Chyi Yan... And thats when we one gang started...
Get into groups (my group 'X-cavate' rocks) & started activities with introduction...
We have to say our name & say what we think about life..
And the 1st impression I gave to the facilitators was.....
"How can a loud voice fit in such a small body?"
(Well, at least its better than sexy voice in previous camps)
The food & place was great! The weather is cooling..
Syok to sleep! Especially peaceful on the last night...
Have activities : -
- One kind of Monopoly game which only contain challenges... Worse thing I experience in this is that I get to eat raw eggs... Yuck!
- Build the highest tower out of paper only & we can use ping pong balls to bring down other groups tower..
- Discussion forum of problems concerning youth & buidl a play out of it.. My group is about suicide!
- Rhythmation Night around the camp fire... Get to play music out of things like pail, cups, coconut shells and etc etc...
- Cook variety of meals from eggs...
- Wacky race! Build a car & race in it...
- Water balloon counter strike!
I just love it!
I miss everybody soooo much in that camp including the facilitators... They are just so youth & friendly!
P.S : Gonna stay loyal to the Star!

the camp was cool....!!!! seriously i enjoyed it... with all the friendly facilitators and supportive group members, the camp was sure lighten up... the best thing that i would never forget is that the ULU-ULU team(which was my team) raced in the wacky race with only three tyres fixed to the car.... ask me how? we did it the flinstone sytle....!!!
and another one is the ghost story telling session which was not how it was supposed to be.... imagine us laughing our lungs out during that session.... at that time, i learnt that ghost story telling session don't have to be scary and creepy all the time....!!!! on the other hand, all the new friends i've met were all friendly, warm, helpful, fun and charming too!!!! :) at the end of the camp, it was kinda hard letting them go...
it was like we were just starting to get to know each other and all of a sudden, we would have to say good-bye to each other... and John, if you read this, i would just wanna say that you were the best of them all....!!! and i heard the cd too... the songs were so good that i wish to be back at the camp fire session...
one day, i would want to return to this camp either to be the participant or to be one of the facilitators.... even if i was not one of the young stars they chose, i am seriously very satisfied that i was choosen to attend the camp because it sure gave me so many sweet memories and lots of friends and a bunch of experience.... ok, i don't wana keep on writing, because if i do, then it would be really long cause i had lots of fun there....!!!!
i wish to be back one day...!!!! love you guys alot....!!!! long live the star!!!! long live D'Jungle people...!!!!
